Simply the best racetrack. Easy parking, easy entry and the best infield. We enjoy bringing our children with us for a family outing. Children see the majestic horses and run around at the play ground while mom and dad gamble and relax. Now if someone could give us the winning horses before the races it would be awesome.

I had never been to a horse racing track before, but I got a temporary job working here during the weekend of the Breeders Cup. Santa Anita Park is a wonderful facility with plenty of seating as well as concession stands and restrooms. The regular staff members I crossed paths with also came off as professional, helpful, and attentive from my perspective. Even if you are not into gambling or watching horse races, this is still an interesting venue to visit and tour just for the experience.

I went to Santa Anita park for Mother's Day with my fiance. Overall, the experience was nice, there was a great selection of food and drinks along with a clean venue and friendly staff. The one thing I would suggest is to have the seating path for club members clearly labeled. My fiance and I walked around for about 20 minutes looking for the club seating and were given conflicting directions by various members of the staff. Other than that, it was a nice experience which I would gladly repeat!

We went to the 6th Annual BBQ Championship and loved all of it. There were carnival games, face painting, horse races and all kinds of BBQ samples. We all went home and a wonderful food coma LOL I can't wait to come back!

I have been coming here since I was a little kid. This time I took a tour of the stables and it was really cool tour. You learn the history of the park and get to see where the horses are kept. I would recommend the tour to anyone who is interested. We also at breakfast at the location and it was good prices for the portion size

Came here for work. What a fun experience; not because our drinks were comped, nor because it was buffet style "all you can eat" but due to the entirety of seeing the sheer size of the racetrack and horses racing. I've never been into horse racing but this was kinda cool.

Love this place. This racetrack is important to our family, our parents use to bring us here as kids. I am fortunate to have had the opportunity to bring my daughter as well. Many great memories here, will continue this tradition with my family to bring our kids here.

Love this place! Went Friday... No admission ($5 clubhouse). Always relaxing, and it has a beautiful view of San Gabriel mountains. Place bets for as little as $2. Throw back in time, without the holdover of what was an elite sport. Bring snacks (or get chili or hotdogs) grab a drink from the bar and kick back for a day

I've been coming to the track with my family since I was a kid and I love Santa Anita best of all. This place is the best. It's clean, beautiful buildings, an awesome infield and the picturesque San Gabriel Mountains as a backdrop. I'll be bringing my kids here one day for sure

I had a great time at the park with my family. We gathered outside with several others to protest this slaughterhouse as we do most every week. The camaraderie we feel with our fellow activists is truly special. Our singular commitment to shutting this place down forever has bonded us to one another. We are heartened by the look of shame we see on the faces of more and more people that exit here each week. These are priceless memories and I am looking forward to our next visit. #horseracingwrongs

Opened in 1934, this is one of the premier horse racing tracks in the country. You don't need to be a horse racing fan to enjoy an afternoon here, but it sure helps. Betting also helps make the races a hell of a lot more exciting, and the colorful crowd and excitement that runs through the place when the horses are close to the wire is pure electricity.

I can go on $15 and gamble all day, making small, meaningless bets to just enjoy myself, or I can study the horses all week, get the form on thursday, and win some big money (Or lose some) when done correctly.

The concessions leave a little to be desired, with cheap beer that is priced way too high, and not much in the way of food other than your typical hot dogs and sodas.

If you're a high roller at Santa Anita on the other hand, the world is your oyster, and you can probably get oysters at the track, but I wouldn't know because I'm usually down on the rail paying attention to the races.

What I'm saying is the fancy stuff is exclusive, but not what I come to the track for, so I can't speak to it. GREAT spot to come watch the kentucky derby simulcast, and of course they hold the breeder's cup here as well. Classic spot.
