A subsidiary of Toshiba America, which is owned by Japan's goliath semiconductor maker Toshiba Corporation, TAEC designs and makes the key components for consumer electronics and mobile devices, digital music players, cameras, medical devices, car electronics, and more. Electron tubes and optoelectronics are also part of its lineup. The company sells to OEMs, original design manufacturers, contract manufacturers, fabless chip makers and distributors around the globe.
