Sonarworks, in 2012 a new sound processing technology was invented, which was able to improve the sound of speakers and headphones, without physically changing them. Sonarworks was created in 2013 with VC funding from Imprimatur Capital, which was immediately put into building the team and doing research. The key to Sonarworks success has always been a team of experts united by a shared passion towards music. After releasing Reference 3 product suite in NAMM 2015, Sonarworks has become the leading developer of sound calibration software. Reference 3 products are currently being used in over 3000 studios across the globe.
