ONKYO Corporation engages in the manufacture and sale of various consumer electronics products and industrial components worldwide. It provides various audio/visual (A/V) components, including A/V receivers, and DVD and Blu-ray players/receivers; network components, such as network receivers; and Hi-Fi components comprising receivers, amplifiers, tuners, CD players, and cassette decks. The company also offers loudspeakers, front/center/surround speakers, subwoofers, and speaker packages; and system components consisting of home theater systems, A/V systems, and mini systems, as well as various accessories, such as RI dock and universal port accessories. The company was formerly known as Osaka Denki ONKYO K.K. and changed its name to ONKYO Corporation in September 1971. ONKYO Corporation was founded in 1946 and is headquartered in Osaka, Japan.
