Additionally, their software offers predictive trend forecasting for artists, genres and sales within the mainstream label, indie and unsigned sectors of the music industry. The company processes terabytes of raw text daily and performs data mining and classification analysis to generate the data which powers its software products. It is also releasing a suite of free widgets powered by the data generated in the back end, as well as opening an API to allow third parties to build applications on top of the musicmetric data.
