Lupatech S.A. engages in the production of equipment and rendering of services for the oil and gas sector. It operates in two segments, Products and Services. The Products segment manufactures and sells anchoring ropes for production platforms, valves, completion tools, fiber optic sensors, vehicular natural gas compressors, and special pipe lining. It offers industrial valves primarily for the chemical, pharmaceutical, pulp and paper, food, civil construction, and machine and equipment industries, as well as develops and produces parts for the automotive industry. The Services segment offers services, such as workover, well intervention, coating, and inspection of pipes. Lupatech S.A. exports its products to approximately 30 countries in the Americas, Europe, and Asia. The company was formerly known as Valmicro Indústria e Comércio de Válvulas S.A. and changed its name to Lupatech S.A. in March 1993. Lupatech S.A. was founded in 1980 and is headquartered in Caxias do Sul, Brazil.
