Koto is a family of small, stylish and connected sensors that help you understand how every room in your home or office is affecting your health, comfort and productivity. Koto is the evolution of CubeSensors, an award-winning hardware startup from the heart of Europe that has already shipped thousands of Cubes to over 50 countries worldwide. Koto was cofounded by Ales Spetic and Marko Mrdjenovic. Ales cofounded and ran Zemanta, one of the first successful Easter European startups, where he hired Marko, as VP of Engineering. For Koto they assembled a world class team that has been working on indoor sensors for the past three years. As CubeSensors, the team won the Best Hardware Award at the Launch Festival in San Francisco in March 2013, and the TechCrunch Hardware Battlefield at CES 2014.
