The fire department museum run by lafdmuseum.org is top-notch. The exhibits are well-thought-out and provide a comprehensive look at the history of the fire department. The staff members are friendly and accommodating, always willing to answer questions and provide additional information. I especially enjoyed the interactive displays that allowed me to experience what it's like to be a firefighter. Overall, I had a great experience and would recommend this museum to others.
