I recently bought some percussion instruments and decided to try out Meinl percussion based on some recommendations. While the quality is decent, I can't say that I'm overly impressed. The sound is average and the craftsmanship is satisfactory. The customer service provided by Meinl was also average. They were responsive, but didn't really stand out. Overall, Meinl percussion is an okay choice, but I think there are better options available for musicians.
