I recently purchased a Meinl percussion set and while I am generally satisfied with the quality, I feel that there is room for improvement. The instruments sound decent, but they don't quite meet my expectations. The craftsmanship is good, but I have noticed a few minor flaws. The customer service provided by Meinl was average. They were responsive, but didn't go above and beyond. Overall, I think Meinl percussion is a decent option for musicians on a budget, but there are better choices available.
