I had a great experience with Friends of the Chicago River! The organization is doing incredible work to restore and protect the river. Their website, chicagoriver.org, provides a wealth of information about their initiatives and how to get involved. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, answering all of my questions. I highly recommend supporting Friends of the Chicago River.
