As a former student of Carterville High School, I can attest that it was an average experience. While some teachers were really great and supportive, others lacked enthusiasm and seemed disinterested in their subject matter. The school also seemed to prioritize sports over other extracurricular activities. There is room for improvement in terms of curriculum and teacher quality. It could be better, but it's not terrible.
