I stayed at a lovely hotel on Galveston Island and had a wonderful time. The room was comfortable and clean, and the location was perfect, right near the beach. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there were plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Galveston!
