I purchased a solar attic fan a few months ago and have mixed feelings about it. On the one hand, the fan does a decent job of keeping my attic cooler, and the installation process was relatively easy. However, I feel that the quality of the fan is not as good as expected. There have been a few occasions where it made unusual noises, and I had to contact customer support for assistance. While they were helpful in resolving the issues, I expected better durability and performance from a product in this price range.
